Last year I clocked up some serious kilometers in the old van competing in competitions around Oz. Making my way up the east coast of Australia to the noosa festival of surfing, the Byron bay single fin classic, the Snowy McAlister winter classic at Manly, the loggers head classic at Scotts Head and the Australian longboard classic at Port Macquarie. It was the perfect opportunity to test out a few competitive and free surfing designs in warmer waters and a great chance to share a few waves with some mates from up north. Here's some highlights of my travels last year captured by Justin Bevan, Andrew Carruthers and Wayne Lynch.
